As a GIS Testing Analyst - Associate, you will engage in client support within our Technology Consulting practice, focusing on Field Service & Operations Modernisation. You will contribute to projects by leveraging your skills in Maximo Consulting, helping clients optimize their business applications. As an Associate, you will be driven by curiosity and adaptability, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will support senior staff, engage in research, and participate in project tasks, all while building your personal brand and learning how to manage and inspire others.

Responsibilities

Gathering requirements and designing enterprise GIS custom applications and data integration solutions

· Tailoring GIS software and tools to meet specific client needs, incorporating additional functionalities and features as required

· Apply geospatial principles and engineering studies to create detailed functional designs

· Developing spatial algorithms for data management, executive level reporting, and visualization

· Advanced problem solving

What You Must Have

- At least a BE/BTECH or equivalent
- At least 1 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

Demonstrated understanding of enterprise GIS administration and basic project management concepts including client management and performing to the project scope & timeline under the guidance of the project manager

· Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience with Esri ArcGIS Software (Enterprise, Desktop, Server, ArcGIS Pro, StoryMaps)

· Flexibility and the ability to adapt to ever-changing situations

· Exemplary problem solver skills and excellent written and verbal communication capabilities

· Ability to work independently, take direction and pro-actively manage time and resources to maintain project schedules

· Capacity to develop/calculate performance metrics to demonstrate status

· Experience with development/testing of routines for GIS data to identify data quality and accuracy

· Proficient creating design documents, project documentation, reports, meeting agendas, and presentations using Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

What Sets You Apart

- Experience working in the Utilities domain will be an added advantage

· Knowledge of Esri Utility Network

· Experience with the Agile methodology and Jira software

· Advanced Excel capabilities

· Knowledge of ArcGIS REST Services

· Experience in Python scripting

· Expertise with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle for versioned enterprise geodatabase

· Strong knowledge of Geodatabase management and ArcGIS Server configuration

· Programming experience with ArcGIS Javascript/REST APIs, ArcPy, ArcObjects

· Knowledge or experience with GE Smallworld software (Electric Office, Gas Office, Gas Transmission Office), G/Tech, and/or IQGeo

· Proven knowledge of database design and PL/SQL query, stored procedure and trigger development
