Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Closing team as a Funding Coordinator. In this role, you will handle loan disbursements, warehouse line portal submissions, supplemental wire recalculations, and wire return exception processing. You will focus on post-approval funding operations, financial accuracy, and bank wire reconciliations in a fast-paced environment. In addition to primary funding duties, this role provides backup support to the closing team by reviewing executed closing packages and uploading documents to our lending software as needed.

This is a full time role in our Boca Raton Headquarters office.

Responsibilities:

● Manage large loan file uploads and downloads through warehouse lender portals.

● Update loan product codes, resolve system issues that prevent loans from moving forward, and coordinate any documents that need to be manually reviewed or cleared.

● Recalculate funding amounts when settlement fees or closing costs create a shortage

● Handle returned wires, complete required security verifications, make sure funds are returned to the correct accounts, and update the loan system once issues are resolved.

● Review all funding requirements before closing, calculate the final amount to be wired, confirm settlement agent instructions and ensure funds are released on time.

● Provide backup support to the Closing Team during busy periods and assist with other closing and funding responsibilities as needed.

● Intermediate to advanced level proficiency in Excel

● Proficiency in Loan Origination Systems

● Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks

● Proficient in Google Workspace

● Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies efficiently

● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
