Requirements
Position Overview:
This is a high-impact role at the intersection of finance, data and innovation. You’ll turn complex financial information into meaningful insights, strengthen reporting and controls, and help keep our capital and accounting processes running smoothly. You’ll also leverage AI and automation to eliminate manual work, improve accuracy, and build smarter, faster workflows. Responsibilities:
Reporting:
- Prepare weekly Capital Market Reports, advising of existing balances and utilization of each line of credit, pending trades and impending inflows of capital to advise of overall impact to the company’s cash forecasting.
- Review and issue monthly, quarterly and annual compliance reports to Warehouse Lenders to ensure that LendingOne is meeting/exceeding stated balance sheet covenants.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports consisting of Company and Segment level Budget vs. Actuals variance, Profit and Loss Analysis, and Origination performance for use in Management Updates and Quarterly Board Meetings.
- Perform sensitivity analysis on contemplated changes to forecasts and changes to operating assumptions on overall profitability.
- Conduct ad hoc reporting for special projects as required.
AI / Workflow Optimization
- Collect and load data into front end database tools that facilitate month end close processes.
- Automate repetitive data entry, accelerate the month-end Accounting close, and improve forecasting accuracy using machine learning and generative tools.
- Work with third parties such as banks and servicers to expedite and automate the flow of information into LendingOne’s systems and leverage API’s and other interfaces where available.
Quality Control
- Evaluate complex financial documents, research codes, and flag inconsistencies.
- Compare measurable outputs against established tolerance limits and address material variances
- Provide feedback to team members and management on identifiable root issues causing fluctuation from norms in an effort to reduce error rates.
Diligence and Audit Support
- Organize requests, tracking, and fulfillment of samples/selections for external Audit and bank diligence requests.
- Initiate and oversee the production of assurance related reporting – eg. Valuation updates, bank confirmations, sub-entity trial balances, etc. from external third parties.
- Work with internal parties to ensure the tie out and correct format for supporting schedules in monthly Accounting Department work papers.
- Review existing accounting systems and policies to spot compliance risks.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
- Intermediate to advanced level proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar systems)
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficient in Google Workspace
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
