- Initiate and develop an R&D stream focused on fuel and fusible materials integration into experimental targets for in-house use.
- Investigate hydrogen isotope exchange reactions relevant to fuel materials, through hands-on laboratory work and/or modeling and simulation.
- Materials characterization: chemical and elemental analysis, including characterisation of hydrogen isotopes and light elements (atomic number < 9).
- Coordinating multi-partner consortia and associated reporting: build and maintain collabo-rations with academic and industrial partners;
- Drafting of public funding applications.
- Mentor junior scientists and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Documentation and reporting: write and oversee technical and safety documentation, pro-tocol development, and contribute to internal, external, and funding-body reports.
