About the role:
Four Seasons Hotel Nashville is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our talented Rooms team. As one of the first and last points of contact for our guests, this role plays a key part in creating exceptional and memorable experiences throughout every stage of the guest journey.

The Front Desk Receptionist welcomes guests to the property, delivers a seamless arrival and departure experience, and provides personalized service throughout each stay. This role is responsible for anticipating guest needs, responding to requests, resolving concerns with professionalism and care, and creating meaningful connections that reflect Four Seasons' legendary service standards.

What you will do:

• Welcome and register guests, explain hotel accommodations, and establish payment methods.
• Provide a warm, personalized check-in and check-out experience while ensuring billing accuracy.
• Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
• Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, dining options, local attractions, transportation, and in-house events.
• Work closely with guests before arrival and during their stay to identify preferences and provide tailored recommendations.
• Coordinate guest services, including dining reservations, local experiences, transportation arrangements, package handling, and other concierge-related requests.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally while finding opportunities to personalize the guest experience.
• Communicate with guests through various channels, including in-person interactions, phone calls, email, Four Seasons Chat, and messaging platforms.
• Utilize Opera PMS, guest recognition tools, and other hotel systems to manage reservations, requests, guest profiles, and billing.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Nashville attractions, restaurants, entertainment venues, and local experiences.
• Collaborate effectively with departments across the hotel to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

What you bring:

• Previous Front Desk, Front Office, Guest Services, or Hospitality experience preferred, ideally within a luxury hotel environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and guest engagement skills.
• A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
• Cross-cultural sensitivity and a genuine appreciation for diverse guest experiences.
• Proficiency with computer systems; experience with Opera PMS or similar hotel management systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of the Nashville area and local attractions is considered an asset.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
