Your role at Upflow

Joining Upflow as a Founder Associate (internship), you are a key player in turning our vision into reality and ensuring smooth alignment between our leadership, investors, and internal teams.

Reporting to our Director of Operations, you will:

• Manage and prepare communication for external stakeholders, including investor reporting and communication

• Prepare, coordinate and take part in top management and company-wide meetings, and lead our Global Weekly Team Meeting, ensuring proper follow-up and alignment

• Coordinate strategic planning activities, including the preparation and facilitation of quarterly OKR planning sessions

• Monitor progress toward company goals, owning key business metrics and tools (e.g. leadership cockpit, business metrics tracking) to ensure transparency and support decision-making

• Execute ad-hoc, cross-functional projects, including topics coming directly from our founder, to support different functions of the business

Who you are

• Proficient with spreadsheet applications, able to both handle and process large sets of data, and get into the details.

• Proficient with slide presentation, able to craft compelling decks adjusted to different audiences.

• Exceptionally organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• A strong communicator, comfortable interfacing with stakeholders at all levels.

• Proactive and eager to take on responsibilities, with an eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.

• Highly coachable, always ready to learn, and quick to put new knowledge into action.

• Fluent in English.

Recruitment process

1 - Screening call with Louis, Director of Operations

It’s a discussion with your future manager. We’ll get deeper into your expertise and know-how. We’ll also give you a clearer view of what your day-to-day in that role is like. It’s a good opportunity to see if you foresee yourself working at Upflow.

2 - Home assignment

Your time to shine! You’ll be given a home assignment. Yes, it is designed to assess your skills. But it’s also designed to give you a better taste of what being part of Upflow is like. Again, hiring is a two-way street! Ultimately: we believe assignments are a great way to control our biases. We care about what you do — not your schooling, your social background, or how you identify.

This home assignment is expected to take you no more than 2-3 hours of work.

3 - Home assignment review

Louis will debrief your case with you. Hiring managers at Upflow are looking for team players: taking and giving feedback is key to thriving with us!

4 - Team interviews

You'll be invited to meet (A) our current Founder Associate, so you can discuss what being in this role is and feels like, and (B) our Finance Director.

5 - Founder interview

Meet with Alex, our co-founder & CEO. He will tell you everything about Upflow’s vision and values. It’s a privileged moment to ask questions, too.
