What you will do
As a Fire Service Renewals Representative, you will maintain and grow sales within a defined customer base and geographical territory. Success in this role comes from developing a customer-focused strategy that supports the retention of preventative maintenance contracts, increases revenue per customer, and strengthens customer satisfaction over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow sales within an assigned customer base and territory.
- Develop and execute strategies that improve retention of preventative maintenance contracts, revenue per customer, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage retention activities within an assigned service agreement customer base of approximately $3M-$3.5M.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the assigned customer base and build lasting relationships with customers.
- Develop strong account knowledge, including key decision makers, equipment, service contract details, and account history.
- Partner with district operations to support and improve service delivery.
- Identify customer needs and translate them into effective sales strategies.
- Report progress and performance metrics to operations and corporate teams on a weekly and monthly basis.
How You Will Do It
- Work within Johnson Controls policies, procedures, products, programs, and services to ensure a consistent customer experience.
- Own outcomes with accountability, safety, and integrity by following through on commitments and managing your territory with discipline.
- Stay close to the customer and the work by developing a detailed understanding of each account and using that knowledge to remove obstacles quickly.
- Improve every day by using candid feedback, reviewing results, and refining your approach based on weekly and monthly performance metrics.
- Win as one team by collaborating with district operations and corporate partners to strengthen service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Use Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Ace, and Report to Web to manage account information, track activity, and support accurate reporting.
What we look for
- High School Diploma.
- Technical aptitude with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Ace, and Report to Web.
Preferred
- BA, BS, or a similar degree.
- 2+ years of sales and/or customer service experience with a similar product, service, or industry.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly qualify opportunities.
- A high degree of self-discipline and a success-driven mindset.
- An independent, creative approach to selling intangible services.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $41,800-$69,800 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
