A global technology organization collaborating across India, the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia.
The opportunity to develop India-based engineering talent and lead a global Monitoring and Observability capability.
A collaborative environment focused on engineering excellence, reliability, security, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
The Enterprise Technology and Operations organization delivers, maintains, secures, and optimizes TJX’s enterprise technology services. Within this organization, the Platform Infrastructure Engineering team provides the foundational platforms and engineering capabilities that support applications and business services across the enterprise.
As the Infrastructure Platform Engineering Manager, you will lead India-based associates within Platform Infrastructure Engineering who support Technology Lifecycle Management, Operating System Lifecycle, server delivery, and vulnerability remediation. These capabilities are governed and overseen by global teams. You will manage the India-based associates in close partnership with their global functional leaders, ensuring alignment on priorities, standards, delivery commitments, and associate development.
You will also have full leadership accountability for the global Monitoring and Observability POD, including its people, strategy, roadmap, engineering delivery, service health, and continuous improvement.
This role requires a leader who can manage a global function, develop India-based engineering talent, and work effectively across a highly matrixed global organization.
Ideal candidate profile: A seasoned Infrastructure & Operations leader with 12+ years of experience, including 3+ years in people management, possessing deep expertise in Vulnerability & Patch Management, Technology Lifecycle Management, and enterprise Monitoring & Observability platforms. The successful candidate should bring an engineering-led mindset, demonstrating the ability to drive platform modernization, automation, reliability, and global team leadership, rather than a traditional operations-focused approach.

Monitoring and Observability Leadership
Lead the global Monitoring and Observability POD with end-to-end accountability for its people, strategy, roadmap, delivery, and operational results.
Define and execute the Monitoring and Observability roadmap in alignment with Enterprise Technology and Operations priorities.
Lead engineering across monitoring, metrics, logs, telemetry, events, alerting, dashboards, integrations, and service-health capabilities.
Establish standards for observability, platform onboarding, production readiness, and service-health visibility.
Improve monitoring coverage, alert quality, ownership, actionability, and operational insight.

Promote automation, reusable integrations, standard telemetry patterns, and scalable onboarding practices.
Partner with infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, service-management, and operations teams to improve detection, troubleshooting, escalation, and recovery.
Define measurable service outcomes and communicate capability health, risks, priorities, and progress to technology leadership.
Server Delivery and Vulnerability Management
Support continuous improvement of secure, standardized, and automated server-delivery processes.
Ensure new server builds meet lifecycle, hardening, monitoring, backup, recoverability, and operational-readiness requirements.
Partner with global teams to reduce delivery lead time, manual effort, configuration variation, and post-delivery defects.
Support risk-based prioritization and remediation of operating-system and infrastructure vulnerabilities.
Incorporate vulnerability requirements into platform standards, server builds, patching, automation, and lifecycle plans.
Track remediation progress, aging risks, exceptions, and recurring findings.
Promote sustainable remediation through automation, platform upgrades, secure configurations, and retirement of unsupported technologies.
Engineering and Operational Excellence
Promote infrastructure as code, configuration management, source control, automated testing, peer review, and CI/CD practices.
Support incident response, root-cause analysis, problem management, capacity planning, and continuous improvement.
Ensure teams maintain effective documentation, support procedures, recovery processes, and operational ownership.
Manage cross-functional risks, dependencies, priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
Communicate progress, decisions, risks, and recommendations clearly to technical teams and senior leaders.
