That’s why we need an engineer like you who specializes in hardware and software to help us research, design, and develop embedded control systems. You’ll impact the DoW by advancing future state-of-the-art personnel and shipboard defense capabilities. You Have:

• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting embedded software that supports hardware functionality on a wide range of devices
• 3+ years of experience optimizing code based on the platform being used
• 3+ years of experience with C++ and Python
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
• Ability to work on-site up to 5 days a week in indoor labs and outdoor test ranges
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or CS

Nice If You Have:

• 3+ years of experience with embedded software and related technologies such as C++ and AMD or Xilinx
• 3+ years of experience with sensor technologies, including trackers, radars, and electro-optical or infrared systems
• Experience with user interface development using Python
• Experience with high power microwave or radio frequency testing
• Experience with Docker containers

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
