Control Risks is seeking a Due Diligence Coordinator to support the Global Security function of a leading technology client. This role sits at the intersection of third-party risk management, intelligence gathering, and operational program delivery, serving as a critical coordinator within the client's Due Diligence and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of due diligence workflows, coordinating stakeholders and external suppliers, monitoring emerging risks, and producing high-quality analytical outputs to support informed business decision-making. This role is ideally suited to a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong research, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, combined with an interest in risk, intelligence, security, and emerging technologies.

Tasks and responsibilities

Third-Party Risk Management & Due Diligence Coordination

  • Manage third-party risk and due diligence engagements throughout the full lifecycle, ensuring requests are appropriately tracked, prioritized, and delivered within established timelines.
  • Coordinate multiple concurrent due diligence engagements while maintaining visibility of project status, outstanding actions, and key milestones.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding due diligence requests, risk assessments, timelines, and engagement status.
  • Liaise with third-party risk and due diligence suppliers, including requesting reports, coordinating deliverables, and managing ongoing communications.
  • Support vendor onboarding and risk management processes by facilitating information gathering and due diligence review activities.
  • Escalate identified risks, issues, or delays to appropriate stakeholders and support the implementation of mitigation measures where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of program activities, risk assessments, and engagement outcomes.
  • Support the ongoing development and improvement of due diligence processes, workflows, and reporting standards.

Intelligence Gathering & Monitoring

  • Conduct open-source intelligence (OSINT) research and due diligence investigations using public sources, intelligence platforms, media reporting, and proprietary research tools.
  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate timely intelligence relevant to third-party risk assessments, stakeholder enquiries, and broader security concerns.
  • Monitor intelligence feeds, platforms, and alerting systems to identify incidents, emerging risks, and developments that may affect the client.
  • Evaluate and contextualize information from a variety of sources to identify potential reputational, operational, compliance, integrity, or security concerns.
  • Maintain awareness of geopolitical, regulatory, technological, and security developments that could affect the client, its vendors, and its broader operating environment.
  • Produce concise intelligence updates and risk briefings that enable stakeholders to quickly understand emerging threats and issues.

Reporting & Risk Assessment Support

  • Produce high-quality internal-facing summaries of due diligence reports and risk assessments to facilitate rapid consumption by business stakeholders.
  • Review and synthesize complex information from multiple sources into clear, structured, and actionable reporting.
  • Support stakeholders in understanding identified risks and their potential impact on business operations.
  • Prepare written briefings, executive summaries, stakeholder updates, and program reporting materials.
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, balanced, evidence-based, and aligned with established quality standards.

Administrative & Program Support

  • Perform a broad range of administrative tasks, including system updates, workflow management, tracking activities, and data entry while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Maintain and update due diligence tracking systems, documentation repositories, and program records.
  • Support reporting metrics, management information, and operational dashboards related to program performance.
  • Ensure all activities are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with established procedures and service expectations.
  • Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and program effectiveness.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Professional fluency in English.
  • 2+ years of experience in intelligence, investigative research, due diligence, risk consulting, compliance, corporate security, business continuity, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written communication skills and experience producing reports, briefings, summaries, or analytical products.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate information from diverse sources.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, synthesize, and communicate large volumes of information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
  • High levels of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Strong documentation, record-keeping, and administrative skills.

Preferred, but not required

  • Previous exposure to due diligence, third-party risk management, vendor risk, compliance, or investigative research programs.
  • Familiarity with open-source intelligence (OSINT) methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience working with intelligence platforms, risk management systems, or case management tools.
  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline such as International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, Intelligence, Risk Management, Business, Law, or a related field.
  • Genuine interest in emerging technologies and the evolving risk landscape associated with technology companies.
  • Experience operating within a global, matrixed, or multinational organization.
