Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing complex/strategic product(s) and developing strategies across functional groups and within a product group. Key responsibilities include managing the full marketing cycle and financial responsibilities for specific product areas and driving innovative idea generation for the products under management. Job expectations include ensuring that the product management efforts are integrated with sales, technology, implementation, and servicing.

Responsibilities:

• P&L accountability: Oversee a set of product(s) and maintain financial responsibility, including accountability for profit and loss activities such as revenue, profit margins, and input to associated financial processes (i.e., forecast, monthly flash reporting, etc.)
• Product governance, controls and risk management: ensure product compliance with regulations & internal policies. Execute sound judgement in managing risks and issues.
• Capabilities management: market research/ competitor analysis, gather and synthesize voice of customer feedback, build business cases, obtain tech build estimates, prioritize product roadmap, manage product development, design end-to-end solution approach including partner banks. Manage product launch readiness across all stakeholders (including implementation and servicing procedures).
• Innovation & product strategy: understand latest payments trends and industry developments to shape product strategy and innovation agenda.
• Commercialization: drive initiatives to increase product adoption and financial / non-financial KPIs, drive product marketing strategies & initiatives
• Communications: external webinars & events, internal trainings and walkthroughs, client communications (including for reg changes and key product updates)
• Support execution of regional product initiatives, while tailoring to market nuances. 
• Product pricing governance including setting standard pricing, pricing packages, and approvals of any non-standard pricing below threshold
• Preparing and ensuring accuracy of product collateral and content to enable the frontline.
• Product quality: drive resolution of issues that impact clients or the business, ensure business continuity when there are technical / operational / other issues, review client complaints, stakeholder feedback and operational loss events to determine remedial actions, process improvements and control enhancements where applicable.
• Product structuring and solutioning of complex deals where support is required.
