Location: Kansas City, MO
Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay: Starting at $23.00/hour, with higher pay available depending on experience
Travel: Up to 50%
Bonus: Potential sign-on bonus
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, cranes, and other motorized equipment.
This position requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, responding to urgent repair needs, and traveling out of town and out of state. Candidates must be available 24/7 for emergency calls.

Required Qualifications
- Hydraulics
- Electronics
- Small engines
- Other related mechanical systems
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of technical/vocational training in diesel or mechanical repair, or equivalent trade school/dealership/factory training.
- 5+ years of hands-on repair and maintenance experience.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Professional certifications related to heavy equipment maintenance and repair preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize urgent repairs and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
