Position Description:

The University of Louisville School of Dentistry is seeking to hire a Dental Receptionist. This Dental Receptionist position is a front office position in our Paducah practice located at 5200 Alben Barkley Dr, Paducah, KY 42001.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Works with faculty, peers, and supervisors to deliver customer service oriented and patient centered care
• As the first point of contact with the patient, checks patients in daily, confirming their contact information, current insurance, and consent forms, and registering new patients when needed
• Verifies insurance and details benefit coverage for patients when appropriate
• Conducts financial transactions, accepts and posts payments, issues receipts, and balances cash drawer at end of day
• Creates, reviews, and manages payment plans with patients
• Answers the phone in a timely and professional manner, managing a multi-line system
• Schedules patient appointments as necessary
• Maintains HIPAA, OSHA and Infection Control compliance at all times
• Other duties as assigned

Please note that any selected candidate's hire date may be effective no earlier than January 5, 2027.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
