À propos de ce poste Demo Program Manager chez Nuro
Who We Are
Nuro believes self-driving vehicles are the most immediate and profound opportunity for AI to drive positive change in the physical world. Safer streets, more time for what matters, and easier access to the world around us, that’s why we’re building a universal autonomy platform: self-driving for all roads and all rides.
Founded in 2016, Nuro is a physical AI company developing Level 4 autonomous driving technology for a wide range of vehicles, use cases, and markets. Powered by the Nuro Driver™, our universal autonomy platform enables the global mobility ecosystem to deploy autonomy at scale, from robotaxis and logistics fleets to personal vehicles.
With years of real-world deployment experience and a flexible, partner-led business model, Nuro is working toward a future where millions of autonomous vehicles powered by our technology help make everyday life safer, easier, and more connected.
Nuro has raised over $2B in capital from Uber, NVIDIA, Google, Softbank, Fidelity, T. Rowe Price, and other leading investors.
About the Role
Nuro is looking for a Demo Program Manager to own the planning and execution of recurring and bespoke autonomous vehicle demonstrations.
This person will be the single accountable program owner for making demos happen—from initial request through planning, dry runs, day-of execution, technical escalation, and post-demo follow-through. The role combines program and project management, Operations coordination, technical issue triage and escalation, and real-time problem solving.
The ideal candidate is highly proactive, independent, organized, technically curious, and adept at communicating with everyone from autonomous vehicle operators to senior technical and company leadership. This person will work closely with functional experts but will own the planning, scope, communication, escalation, and execution outcome of each demo.
About the Work
- Own the source-of-truth demo calendar, intake process, requirements, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
- Plan and coordinate autonomous vehicle demos with Nuro’s existing and future vehicle platforms (e.g., Prius, Lexus, Gravity).
- Lead planning and execution for bespoke and higher-complexity demos, including executive, partner, and investor events.
- Translate each demo request into an executable plan covering:
- Date, location, route, and guest requirements.
- Vehicle and software requirements.
- Operations staffing.
- Dry-run and testing cadence.
- Technical support and escalation coverage.
- Contingency plans and go/no-go criteria.
- Coordinate vehicle allocation, charging, transport, staging, configuration, and readiness with Operations and Fleet.
- Coordinate software releases, bot updates, vehicle configurations, route configurations, and demo-specific profiles.
- Coordinate route creation and updates with Mapping, Routing, Autonomy, and Operations.
- Plan and manage dry runs, including test objectives, routes, timing windows, and feedback requirements.
- Serve as the day-of command and coordination lead across vehicles, operators, technical teams, Nuro hosts, and other stakeholders.
- Triage and coordinate resolution of issues, which may include:
- Vehicle startup and readiness.
- Route setting and mission configuration.
- Localization and connectivity.
- Software and release configuration.
- Mapping and routing.
- Autonomy behavior.
- Hardware and fleet readiness.
- Create and route tickets to the appropriate technical team, including Mapping, Routing, Autonomy, Controls, Fleet, OpsTools, Connectivity, Infrastructure, and Guardian.
- Coordinate logs, run IDs, priority imports, operator feedback, and post-run documentation.
- Track issues through root-cause analysis, mitigation, fix deployment, validation, and closure.
- Provide regular readiness updates and escalate material risks, blockers, and decisions to Tech Group leadership and other relevant leaders.
- Collaborate with Partner Success and other Program and commercial stakeholders on external-facing technical updates.
- Maintain demo procedures, route and mission setup instructions, release references, feedback templates, known issues, mitigations, and escalation paths.
- Conduct post-demo reviews and ensure follow-up actions are assigned, tracked, and closed.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate demo planning, readiness, and execution processes.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, operations, technical operations, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating complex, time-sensitive programs involving multiple teams and dependencies.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage schedules, resources, risks, and changing priorities.
- Technically curious and able to quickly learn about vehicles, autonomy systems, maps, routes, releases, and operational tooling to triage issues effectively.
- Strong judgment and real-time problem-solving skills, particularly in high-pressure or ambiguous situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with autonomous vehicle operators, engineers, technical leaders, and executives.
