Acting as the central point of accountability for execution, the Delivery Lead is responsible for planning, governance, financial oversight, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and executive reporting across multiple concurrent initiatives.

The role leads cross-functional teams without direct authority and partners closely with business, data, technology, and vendor stakeholders to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and aligned to organizational objectives.

Success in this role requires more than strong delivery discipline. The successful candidate is expected to develop a strong understanding of the business objectives, data management capabilities, stakeholder landscape, and delivery challenges associated with their initiatives. The Delivery Lead is expected to operate as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying risks, challenging assumptions, and helping teams navigate complex delivery decisions.

  • Facilitate executive discussions, governance forums, steering committees, and project review sessions.
  • Influence stakeholders across business, data, and technology teams to drive alignment, accountability, and timely decision-making.

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

  • Own and maintain project RAID logs, ensuring risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies are actively managed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify delivery risks early, develop mitigation and contingency plans, and escalate significant risks and delivery concerns with recommended actions.
  • Facilitate cross-functional dependency management across business, technology, vendor, and data teams.

Financial Management & Delivery Controls

  • Support project financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and ongoing financial monitoring activities.
  • Track project expenditures, forecast variances, and resource allocations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner with finance, business, and delivery stakeholders to maintain financial transparency and delivery accountability.

Governance, Reporting & Compliance

  • Establish and execute delivery governance frameworks that support effective delivery oversight and decision-making.
  • Prepare and deliver executive reporting, dashboards, status updates, and briefing materials.
  • Ensure delivery documentation, reporting, decisions, actions, and commitments are maintained and tracked in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Support internal audit, regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements as applicable.
  • Support continuous improvement of delivery practices, governance processes, and reporting standards.
