As a Deals - Financial Due Diligence - Manager you will lead client deal workstreams focused on analyzing financial information, including quality of earnings, assets, cash flow, and other transaction issues across mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures within our Deals practice. As a Manager you will lead teams, coach and develop staff, manage project timelines and deliverables, and use sound judgment to navigate complex situations while bringing forward opportunities that support client service and firm growth. In this role at PwC, you will help shape transaction advice, coordinate across multiple workstreams, and apply financial diligence methods and technology tools to deliver clear, practical insights for clients.
Responsibilities
- Leading financial due diligence workstreams across mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
- Reviewing financial statements, earnings quality, cash flow trends, and working capital drivers to identify transaction issues
- Coordinating transaction analysis across finance, accounting, and valuation inputs to support deal decisions
- Managing project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple client engagements
- Coaching team members through analysis, drafting, and review processes to build technical capability
- Evaluating financial models, forecast assumptions, and accounting adjustments to support purchase decision analysis
- Presenting findings and key deal observations to client leadership and internal stakeholders
- Identifying risks, data gaps, and transaction implications while applying professional judgment to complex financial information
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Actuarial Science, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Risk Management/Insurance
- Demonstrating financial due diligence, acquisitions, or deal analysis experience
- Managing project plans, budgets, timelines, and client deliverables
- Analyzing business performance metrics and financial statement modeling
- Mentoring teams through feedback, coaching, and review cycles
- Utilizing valuation, working capital, and merger accounting knowledge
