Role Overview
You will keep our CFD trading environment running: platform configuration, instrument and pricing setup, execution monitoring, and the operational discipline that sits behind every trade our clients place. The role sits at the intersection of Dealing, Risk, Technology and Compliance, and suits someone who is equally comfortable configuring an MT5 group and investigating why a single client fill slipped 4 pips.
Responsibilities
- Administer MT4/MT5 groups, symbols, securities, managers and routing configurations.
- Configure swaps, dividends, expiries, corporate actions, sessions, leverage and margin.
- Lead operational setup of new instruments and products through to live rollout.
- Monitor pricing, spreads, liquidity, execution quality and platform health; escalate anomalies.
- Investigate execution incidents — slippage, rejections, requotes, off-market fills.
- Track economic releases, rollovers and holiday schedules; implement session adjustments.
- Support Risk Management with operational implementation of approved risk and trading decisions.
- Produce daily P&L reporting, reconciliations and exception reports.
- Monitor third-party providers, bridges and connectivity; manage escalation with Technology and vendors.
- Maintain shift handover, incident logs, SOPs and audit trails for Compliance.
- Test new dealing tools, plugins and automation; identify manual processes to automate.
- Work daily with Risk, Risk Intelligence, Technology, Compliance and Sales.
Requirements
- 2+ years in Dealing, Trading Operations or Dealing Support at a CFD/FX broker.
- Hands-on MT4/MT5 administration — not user-level familiarity.
- Working knowledge of CFDs, FX, indices and commodities.
- Practical experience configuring swaps, dividends, expiries, leverage/margin and instrument specs.
- Advanced Excel.
- High precision under time pressure — a configuration error here is a financial loss.
- Availability for early, late, weekend and public holiday shifts.
- SQL and/or Python for reporting, reconciliation or automation (advantageous).
- VBA (advantageous).
- Experience with bridges (PrimeXM, oneZero, Centroid, Brokeree), LP connectivity or FIX (advantageous).
- MT5 Manager/Web API exposure (advantageous).
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or similar (advantageous).
