Position Summary:
We are seeking a Data Warehouse Analyst to support and evolve our enterprise data warehouse environment. This role is split between daily operational responsibilities that ensure the reliability and performance of our data platform, and project-based initiatives focused on enhancing data models, pipelines, and analytical capabilities.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working independently, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities :
Monitor and maintain data warehouse processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and availability
Create and optimize T-SQL queries and stored procedures supporting daily data loads and transformations
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues using structured root cause analysis (RCA)
Proactively detect performance issues and recommend optimizations
Document operational procedures, data flows, and known issues
Design, develop, and enhance data warehouse objects and data models within Azure Synapse
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives around data quality, performance, and scalability
Assist with testing, validation, and deployment of data warehouse changes
Qualifications :
Strong experience with T-SQL, including complex queries, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Experience working with Azure Synapse Analytics or Azure SQL Database with Azure Data Factory.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to perform effective root cause analysis
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
Comfortable working independently while also collaborating in a team environment
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Nice-to-Have Skills :
Experience with Python for data analysis or automation
Familiarity with Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, or similar reporting tools
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric
Experience supporting BI, analytics, or reporting teams
Background in data quality frameworks or data governance practices
