About the Function:

About this role 

Purpose of the role:

Lead the governance and operational management of the Global Travel Commercial Data & Systems capability, ensuring reliable business systems, trusted commercial data and effective operational controls that enable commercial performance. Drive continuous improvement across commercial systems, data and business processes in partnership with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, GBS and external partners. 

You will be responsible for: 

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage the delivery of the Global Travel Data & Systems roadmap, ensuring the effective operation, integration and continuous improvement of GT business systems, including GTME, GT Power BPM and Vision. 

• Own the governance and operational management of Global Travel commercial data and business systems, ensuring trusted data, effective controls and the integrity of key business datasets, including Depletions, Stock in Trade, Retail Sales Value and Sales Drivers. 

• Partner with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, GBS and external partners to translate business requirements into operational solutions, coordinate system enhancements and ensure the successful delivery of agreed business priorities. 

• Coordinate the day-to-day Data & Systems capability, supporting the Commercial Product Owner by managing operational priorities, driving continuous improvement and ensuring effective collaboration across the wider Commercial Data & Systems team.

Experience/skills required: 

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline. 

• 7+ years' experience in data management, business systems, analytics or digital operations within a complex commercial environment. 

• Demonstrated experience managing commercial systems, business data and operational governance, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable operational solutions. 

• Strong understanding of commercial data governance, reporting, business systems and process improvement, with experience driving operational excellence and business adoption. 

• Experience working collaboratively across Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain and GBS functions within a matrix organisation. 

• Experience with GTME, Power BPM, Vision, Power BI, Microsoft technologies or similar enterprise platforms would be advantageous.
