About the team

The Customer Investment Team is the first point of contact for Commercial Sales and Field Sales teams and is responsible for Key Account/National Account level customer and Outlet level customer Agreement and Invoice management and document retention.

About the role

The Customer Investment Management Analyst will ensure that Diageo is paying an appropriate amount for contractual obligations through reconciliation of invoices with contracts and evidence of having met obligations (e.g. volume or activation).

The Customer Investment Management Analyst will act as the single point of contact for validating and coding claims for the respective cluster and will be the single point of contact for the Team Leader for the relevant cluster.

You will be expected to interact with different teams within Diageo (Sales, OTC, Credit Control, etc) to research, validate and code invoices as per internal controls requirements.

The role is expected to provide operational and functional support as per the request and instruction from the line manager.

The Customer Investment Management Analyst will also have specific on-going responsibility including but not limited to:

• Deliver CIM service offering for their customer cluster within Service Level Agreement (SLA) timings and thresholds
• Liaise with the customer / sales team on any Invoicing related issues.
• Responsible for all Contract and Invoice Operations processes for specific cluster assigned.
• Provide support, execution, and adherence to processes to enable an efficient Contract and Invoice Operations process for Diageo customers and call out when appropriate issues are noted.
• Use external and internal metrics to reconcile evaluate and control outbound payments and challenge where appropriate.
• Perform volume analysis and calculate customer invoice amounts.
• Ensure a 100% Compliance across all the areas of Invoicing and audits.
• Take Ownership and devise strategies on invoicing processes, nurture the relationship with partners to understand context, payment terms, activation status, etc.
• Reporting the Cash on metrics

• Creating possibilities for the team to succeed in a changing environment.

The responsibilities will not be limited to the ones stated above, new instructions can be communicated ad-hoc by the line manager or CIM manager. CIM is a growing team which enables an agile environment.

• Experience in invoicing operations & Power BI experience is a Plus
