【ポジション概要】

本ポジションでは、エヌエヌ生命のエンタープライズデータアーキテクチャ、データガバナンス戦略、大規模データ移行プロジェクトを中心となって推進していただきます。

実務的な技術スキルとチームをリードする力の両方が求められます。
データエンジニア／アーキテクトを率いながら、エンタープライズアーキテクチャ、アプリケーションチーム、ビジネス部門など、さまざまな関係者と連携し、レガシーシステムから新システムへの移行を含む主要データ施策を主導します。

また、データモデリング、データ品質、メタデータ、データカタログ、MDMなどのガバナンス領域のルール策定・浸透、エンジニアへのデータアーキテクチャ教育、業界トレンドや新技術の探索といった、組織の知見を高める役割も担っていただきます。

【主な職務内容】

1. データアーキテクチャおよびエンタープライズモデリングのリード

• 現状および将来のデータシステムを評価し、ビジネスニーズに合わせた改善を設計
• RDB設計（スター・スキーマ、SCD）、MDM、データ統合パターンのモデリング
• Azureベースのデータプラットフォーム（Landing／Staging／Refined）設計

2. データ移行プロジェクトの推進

• 大規模データ移行およびMDMプロジェクトのリーダーとして全体を統括
• データマッピング、検証フレームワーク、監査ログ、品質管理の設計
• ETL/ELTパイプラインの設計支援および技術面の進捗管理（Databricks／Informatica／Pythonなど）
• ビジネスSME、IT部門、外部ベンダーとの連携・調整

3. データガバナンスの構築と推進

• モデリング、データ品質、メタデータ、カタログ、MDM、API連携などのガバナンス方針を策定
• 各部門への導入支援・定着に向けたガイダンス提供

4. チーム連携・ファシリテーション

• ビジネス部門と協力し、データおよび業務ロジックの深い理解を促進
• レガシーシステムから新システムへの移行において中心的役割を担う
• 自身の業務を分かりやすく整理し、適切にドキュメント化するスキルも重要

【必須要件（Must）】

• 大規模データ移行プロジェクトの主導経験
• MDM／メタデータ管理／データガバナンスの豊富な実務経験
• OLTPおよびOLAP双方でのデータ処理経験
• クラウドデータプラットフォーム（ストレージ、Databricks、データベース）の利用経験
• RDBモデリング（スター・スキーマ、SCD）の深い専門性
• データエンジニアまたはアーキテクトチームのリーダー経験
• PythonおよびDatabricksのスキル
• 日本語・英語での高いコミュニケーション能力（読み書き）
• チームワークを重視し、他者を尊重できる姿勢
• 主体的に行動し、細部への注意を払える方

【Position Summary】

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect / Governance Team Lead who will play a pivotal role in shaping NN Life Japan’s enterprise data architecture, data governance strategy, and large-scale data migration programs.
This role requires both hands-on technical expertise and strong leadership capabilities.
You will guide a team of data engineers/architects, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Enterprise Architecture, Application Teams, Business Owners), and act as the central driver of our core data initiatives—including the migration  from legacy system to new system.
You will define and enforce data governance policies (data modeling, data quality, metadata, catalog, MDM) and ensure their adoption across the company. You will also educate engineers on data architecture principles and act as a thought leader who continuously explores industry trends and emerging technologies.

【Key Responsibilities】

1. Lead Data Architecture & Enterprise Modeling
•    Review current and future data systems; design improvements aligned with business goals.
•    Lead modeling for relational databases (Star Schema, SCDs), MDM domains, and enterprise data integration patterns.
•    Architect Azure-based data platforms including Landing / Staging / Refined zones.
2. Drive Data Migration Projects
•    Act as the central point of leadership for the large scale data migration and MDM project. 
•    Develop data mapping strategy, validation frameworks, audit trails, and quality controls.
•    Guide ETL/ELT pipeline design and oversee technical delivery (Databricks, Informatica, Python).
•    Coordinate business SMEs, IT teams, and vendors to ensure accurate and timely migration.
3. Data Governance Leadership
•    Define data governance policies for modeling, quality, metadata, cataloging, MDM, and data sharing APIs.
•    Implement governance processes across business departments and ensure adoption.
4. Team collaboration and facilitation
•    Collaborate with stakeholders on business side to understand more about data and business logic. 
•    Play a key role in migrating data from legacy system to the new system  . 
•    Good / Organized knowledge management (documentation) of one’s own work is an important skill. 
 

【Required Qualifications (Must)】

•    Strong experience driving large-scale data migration programs.
•    Strong experience with MDM, metadata management, and data governance frameworks.
•    Experience for both of OLTP and OLAP process
•    Experience with cloud data platforms (Storage, Databricks,  Database).
•    Expert in relational database modeling (Star Schema, SCD).
•    Proven leadership experience managing data engineers or architecture teams.
•    Proficiency in Python and Databricks.
•    Effective communication skills (read and write) in both Japanese and English. 
•    Excellent team player with a collaborative mindset. Empathy and Compassionate mindset for others in the team is important.  
•    Proactive and paying to attention to details 
 

【Preferred Qualifications (Want)】
•    Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform. 
•    Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and cloud platforms, especially Azure and Databricks. 
•    Experience in the insurance or financial services industry. 
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 for collaboration and documentation. 
•    Knowledge of structured & unstructured architectures.
•    Knowledge of Life Insurance, Finance, or IT strategies.
