Our YouGov Shopper team manages a panel of 6.000 families locally. These households continuously register their groceries via our YouGov Shopping application on their smartphone. Via the data we collect on these daily purchases, we analyze trends on the market and report these to our clients (manufacturers, retailers).
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do:
Monitor, update, and analyze FMCG category trends based on monthly recorded data; prepare and distribute monthly trend reports covering product categories and retail outlets to internal stakeholders.
Maintain and update the data structures required for reporting, leveraging Article, Store, and Household Socio-Demographic Profile databases; collaborate closely with the Operations team to ensure accurate classifications, validations, and data quality checks.
Partner continuously with the Client Service team to define reporting requirements, data needs, and analytical deliverables for clients.
Produce standard reports, ad hoc analyses, and client presentations, including data visualizations, in line with company standards, methodologies, and established procedures.
Validate data consistency, correlations, and overall quality across reports, analyses, and presentations to ensure accurate and error-free deliverables.
Ensure the timely preparation and delivery of reports and analyses, meeting agreed deadlines for both external and internal clients.
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
Obtained your master or bachelor’s degree in an economic field.
Analytical thinking and you get delighted when finding out what’s behind the numbers.
Experienced FMCG or Retail topics and you work effortlessly in PowerPoint and Excel.
Good proficiency in English.
Excellent communication skills and you can express yourself clearly in both speaking and writing.
