The Opportunity: 

Develop and maintain documentation for processes such as deployment diagrams, standard operating procedures, manuals, instructions and contract deliverables. Write and edit technical documentation for hardware and software to include installation, configuration, and how-to documentation. Format technical publications from technical drawings, consultations with technical personnel and other available resources.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience as a technical author or editor of technical or scientific information
• Knowledge of grammar, formatting, and document configuration management
• Knowledge of basic concepts and writing technical copy for various types of documents
• Ability to prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides and manuals, and technical publications
• Ability to gather technical information and prepare written text
• Ability to use multiple word processing and presentation tools, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Associate’s degree and 5+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities, Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities, or Master’s degree and 1+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, including Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, GICSP, or CND Certification.

• Experience with supporting IC clients
• Experience interacting with technical engineers and architects
• Knowledge of cybersecurity terminology
• Ability to prepare reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences
• Ability to handle deadlines
• Ability to maintain a current internal documentation library

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
