The Customer RMA and Asset Data Manager is responsible for the global management, accuracy, and continuous improvement of asset and entitlement master data supporting Reverse Logistics processes.

Accurate and timely asset data is a critical input to key business processes, including RMA case handling, spare-parts planning, and depot dimensioning. The role acts as a key coordination point for asset-related data and interfaces, working closely with Reverse Logistics, Spare Parts Management, Service Business Management, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

The role combines master data management, data quality monitoring, analysis, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement to ensure reliable asset information across ERP and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage asset and entitlement master data, including new asset assignments and regular reviews of existing assignments.
• Maintain and update asset information in line with contract renewals and other relevant business changes.
• Collaborate closely with Spare Parts Managers to ensure asset data is accurate, complete, and suitable for spare-parts planning and depot dimensioning.
• Monitor asset-data interfaces between ERP and CRM systems, identify inconsistencies, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Validate system asset records against customer installed-base information and other relevant data sources.
• Develop and provide regular and ad hoc reports and analyses to identify data-quality gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Proactively drive data quality and data integrity, identifying root causes of recurring issues and supporting sustainable improvements.
• Represent Reverse Logistics in projects and initiatives related to asset management, master data, and system interfaces.
• Work with cross-functional and cross-site stakeholders to continuously improve asset-management processes and data governance.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Experience in business administration, master data management, asset management, logistics, customer service, or a related operational environment.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with large data sets, reporting, and data-quality analysis.
• Good understanding of business processes and the ability to identify relationships between master data, systems, and operational outcomes.
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems; relevant hands-on experience is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency with standard office and reporting applications; advanced data analysis/reporting capabilities are an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment.
• Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of topics.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
