Job Description
Position Summary:
This position provides support for the general administrative operations of a given unit. Responsibilities include reception duties, scheduling, producing reports and correspondence, assisting in fiscal activities and rendering consistent office support. May assist with organizing meetings, travel and events.

Essential Job Duties:
- Prepare and submit reimbursement requests in accordance with university and program policies for program director and associate director.
- Update website communications and keep in accordance with federal ADA laws regarding accessibility.
- Enter field trial data for 40+ trials in excel spreadsheets from handwritten notes/maps.
- Coordinate field day donation requests from local companies from written request to sending receipts.
- Assist with program purchasing of supplies as needed.
- Coordinate program employee travel reimbursements.
Conditions of Employment:
- Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for all new hires).
- Valid driver's license by employment start date.
- Authorized to work in the United States by employment start date.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required in science fields.
- 6 months experience in scientific data entry.
- Close attention to detail.
- Experience coordinating extension events and field days.
- HTML coding experience for website design and maintenance.
- Understanding of WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirements for web content.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work with a small dynamic team.
- Strong working knowledge of WordPress and Microsoft Office Programs.
Salary Range
