PeopleCert is looking for a Corporate Events & Travel Assistant to join our Corporate Events & Travel team. In this role, you will support the planning and delivery of corporate events while coordinating business travel and related administrative processes. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you will help ensure events, travel arrangements and procurement activities are delivered efficiently and with exceptional attention to detail.
As a Corporate Events & Travel Assistant your tasks will include the following:
- Support the planning and delivery of internal and external corporate events, including employee engagement, ESG, executive, board and exam-related events.
- Coordinate event logistics, including venues, catering, accommodation, transportation, audiovisual requirements and attendee management.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure the smooth execution of events.
- Coordinate business travel bookings, including flights, hotels and ground transportation.
- Review travel requests, communicate itineraries and support booking amendments when required.
- Create and monitor purchase orders and maintain procurement documentation, quotations and invoices.
- Maintain accurate records, trackers and reports related to events and travel.
- Provide on-site support for corporate events, as required.
What we look for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in events, travel, hospitality or administration.
- Strong organizational, communication and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
- Excellent knowledge of English (C1-C2 certificate).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with travel booking or procurement systems is considered an advantage.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)
Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.
If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:
- A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
- Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
- HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
- Financial background check
- Employment reference check.
- If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.
In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
