Department Overview
As the Corporate Planning department for Rakuten Mobile's corporate business, we are responsible for market research, competitive analysis, strategy formulation, KPI management, management accounting, and the promotion of cross-company projects. Our department supports the resolution of issues for both front-line teams and executive management to maximize overall company performance.
We support the growth of the entire corporate business through market research, competitive analysis, the formulation of medium- to long-term strategies, the promotion of cross-functional projects, and the visualization of necessary KPIs. We work to plan, execute, and institutionalize initiatives from a company-wide perspective, aiming for overall optimization rather than local optimization.

Position Details

Business KPI Management
- Setting, monitoring, and analyzing KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for each business division.
- Creating regular business performance reports and reporting to executive management.
- Identifying issues and implementing improvement proposals to achieve KPIs.
- Efficiency in business operations and decision-making support utilizing data analysis.

Business Strategy Support

- Market research and competitive analysis.

- Support for formulating medium- to long-term business strategies.

- Supporting strategy execution through collaboration with executive management and business divisions.

- Analysis and proposals for business portfolio optimization.

Project Management

- Promoting projects through coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

- Progress management, resource coordination, and risk management for multiple projects.

- Quality control and deadline compliance for project deliverables.

Other Tasks

- Promoting internal AI integration and operational efficiency.

- Collaboration with external partners as needed.

Work Environment
The team is composed of a diverse range of members, including mid-career hires and contractors, with a focus on young professionals in their 20s and 30s. It is an organization with a flat atmosphere where communication is easy. Members come from a variety of backgrounds.

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Ability to identify issues independently.
- Communication and coordination skills.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly.
- Basic Office skills (Excel: VLOOKUP, IFS functions, etc.).
- Ability to involve others and drive tasks forward.
- English proficiency: TOEIC 600 or higher (or equivalent certification).

Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in corporate planning or consulting.
- MBA or Small and Medium Enterprise Management Consultant (Chusho Kigyo Shindanshi) certification.
- PMP or project management experience.
- Knowledge of financial accounting and management accounting.
- Practical experience using BI tools such as DOMO.
- Experience in realizing operational efficiency using AI, etc.
