We’re looking for a Control Room and Performance Monitoring Specialist interested in joining our Team in the Philippines!

Job Description:

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform daily or weekly monitoring of performance affecting production of renewable energy portfolios composed of PV, Wind or BESS utility scale assets in different countries on internal digital platform NUO and according to internal procedures
• Collect all the information by O&M and asset manager to properly allocate in the right category events, incidents, faults and underperformance
• Follow-up with O&M and asset manager up to closure of events, including all the information needed for reporting, including losses calculation
• Drafting of recursive contractual reporting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly as support to asset managers
• Analysis of performance to spot potential trends and defects on Solar, Wind and BESS assets comparing different components with potential expected production, crosschecking performance of different components of same asset and/or other comparable assets under monitoring
• Perform availability calculations by mean of digital platform and instrument and follow-up with asset manager and O&M
• Support asset manager in losses calculation for business interruption calculation related to fault under insurance claims.
• Cooperate with Technical Asset Management and Technical Advisory team in data collection and analysis aimed to generate specific performance and operation reports
• Participate to scheduled meeting with asset management department to share information about assets under monitoring
• Support asset manager in delivering report to the client, and the financing parties, about the main parameters of the technical performance of the plants in compliance with the contractual obligations
• Support the Technical Asset Management team in Manila in day-to-day activities on assets in the Philippines

 

Key Requirements

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering,
• At least 1 year of experience in the renewable energy sector and in particular asset performance and monitoring control room in PV, Wind and BESS technology
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office package in particular good knowledge in Excel while VB and Python script programming, GIS and Autocad are a plus
• Language Skills: Fluent English and Tagalog while Spanish, Italian, Japanese are considered as plus
• Awareness on how SCADA and data collection works
• Driving license and availability to travel time to time
• International team working oriented mindset
