Job Title: Consultant in Adult Psychiatry

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join a respected private client in London, Greater London. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality psychiatric care across CMHT and inpatient settings
• Assess, diagnose, and manage a range of conditions including acute mental health issues, depressive illness, Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and dual diagnosis
• Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development
• Provide clinical supervision and support to junior medical staff
• Ensure full compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and other relevant legislation

Qualifications & Experience
• Full GMC registration
• Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
• Inclusion on the Specialist Register (CCT)
• Extensive experience in Adult Psychiatry, including acute and complex mental health presentations
