Help Shape the Flynn Employee Experience & Brand!

Flynn is seeking a strategic and creative Communications & Brand Manager to lead internal communications, employee engagement, and brand initiatives across North America. This role will drive communication strategies that connect employees to Flynn's culture, values, and business priorities while ensuring a consistent and compelling brand experience.

The successful candidate will oversee internal communication channels, support executive messaging and organizational change initiatives, lead a small communications team, and manage external marketing and creative partners.

A Day in the Life

Internal Communications & Employee Engagement

• Develop and execute communication strategies that strengthen employee engagement and organizational culture.
• Create and deliver employee communications including newsletters, leadership messages, company announcements, presentations, and campaigns.
• Lead communications for company initiatives, program launches, business updates, and organizational change.
• Promote employee programs related to safety, recognition, wellness, learning and development, and company events.  

Brand & Corporate Communications

• Ensure consistency in Flynn's messaging, visual identity, and communication standards.
• Develop content highlighting employee achievements, company milestones, community involvement, and organizational success stories.
• Support executive communications, leadership presentations, and corporate storytelling initiatives.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and develop Flynn's Communications and Graphic Design team.
• Partner with HR, Learning & Development, Recruitment, Operations, Safety, and Executive Leadership on strategic communication initiatives.
• Manage relationships with external agencies, creative partners, and vendors.  

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or post-graduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, corporate communications, or related disciplines.  
• Experience developing communication strategies and supporting organizational initiatives.
• Exceptional written, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Experience leading teams and collaborating across multiple business functions.
