The Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa is a colorful Garden Island with all the charm and intimacy of a traditional Maldivian Village. Located just 25 minutes by speedboat from the airport, the island’s accommodations, restaurants and recreational facilities are all close at hand, arranged around a beautiful central promenade lined with borders of bougainvillea, frangipani and hibiscus flowers.

The Commis (Hot Kitchen) will share our passion for excellence and be committed to creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The successful candidate will join a diverse, dynamic, and talented culinary team dedicated to delivering award-winning service and cuisine. Working closely with the culinary brigade, the Commis will support the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency. This position reports to the Sous Chef.

A Maldivian work permit will be provided by the resort if required.

What you will do:

• Clean and prep raw ingredients.
• Prepare mise-en-place, bases, and sauces.
• Assist line cooks and receive hands-on training.
• Maintain high food hygiene, safety standards, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Complete Safe Step Training certification.
• Follow the resort's code of conduct, grooming, and hygiene standards.
• Participate in team briefings and meetings.
• Keep the work area clean and promote a safe work environment.
• Ensure correct use of kitchen equipment and follow standard recipes.
• Support timely food service and accommodate guest preferences.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• Strong English, math, and psychometric skills.
• Technical education in Hospitality is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience in a similar role will be an added advantage.
• Personal flair and finesse.

Schedule & Hours:

• This is a full time position
• 48 hours a week with one day off
