Hourly Pay Range:
$59.50 - $92.23 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:
- Position: Clinical Pharmacist - Inpatient
- Location: Glenbrook Hospital
- Part-time (40 hours per 2 week pay period)
- Hours: Rotating day and evening shifts; rotating weekends and holidays required
What you will need:
- License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist
- Education: PharmD (preferred) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience preferred
- Certification: N/A
- Experience: At least one year experience as a registered pharmacist; or previous hospital experience- limited time away from institutional practice
- Skills: Ability to prioritize orders, perform multiple tasks and work in a team environment
What you will do:
- Dispense medication in response to a physician's order
- Provide clinical pharmacy services including drug information, preparing doses and checking work done by a technician prior to dispensing
- Prepare, compound and dispense medication consistent with department policy, and rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy, Department of Public Health, and JCAHO
