About the location:

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Welcome and escort guests to their tables in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus and provide detailed information on food, beverages, and daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Ensure all guest requests are handled promptly and professionally.
• Anticipate guest needs and exceed service expectations.
• Address guest complaints or concerns and escalate when necessary.

Restaurant Operations

• Manage an assigned station and ensure smooth service throughout the shift.
• Set up and maintain tables according to established standards.
• Serve food and beverages following service procedures and sequence of service.
• Monitor table progress and coordinate timing with the kitchen and bar.
• Prepare and present bills accurately and process payments.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the service area at all times.

Teamwork and Supervision

• Assist in training and mentoring Commis de Rang and junior team members.
• Coordinate with colleagues to ensure efficient service flow.
• Participate in daily briefings and communicate relevant information to the team.
• Support colleagues during busy periods and special events.

Health, Safety & Hygiene

• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming and appearance.
• Ensure compliance with hotel/restaurant health and safety policies.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns immediately.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel, fine dining restaurant, or luxury hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of food, beverages, wines, and service techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
