The CAD Librarian will build, standardize, and maintain the central mechanical CAD parts library. Structure CAD data and establish a catalog system for engineering teams to locate and reuse standard fasteners, off-the-shelf mechanical hardware, and parametric components across projects. Support Google Design Engineers using PTC Creo Parametric and Windchill PDMLink.

Key Responsibilities

• Model and curate 3D CAD parts, family tables, and parametric library catalog items in PTC Creo Parametric 10 or higher.
• Build and structure standard hardware libraries (fasteners, brackets, connectors, off-the-shelf components) to make component re-use straightforward and prevent duplicate part creation.
• Organize metadata, attributes, and file structures across PTC Windchill PDMLink and Oracle Agile PLM (gPLM).
• Audit CAD data integrity, model geometry, layer states, and drawing standards before library check-in.
• Migrate and standardize legacy CAD models, drawing templates, and supplier catalog models into the central repository.
• Author clear documentation and reference guides for design engineers on searching, configuring, and checking out standard library parts.
• Provide front-line support for mechanical Design Engineering release processes, PRM, ECN.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience modeling parametric parts, assemblies, and family tables in PTC Creo Parametric (version 10 or higher)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Product Data Management (PDM) and PLM systems, specifically PTC Windchill PDMLink and Oracle Agile PLM (gPLM)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Python scripting experience for automating CAD batch processing, attribute verification, or PDM data extraction.
• Experience with PTC Windchill ProjectLink and CAD worker publishing.
• Proven track record building or administering standard mechanical CAD hardware catalogs (fasteners, electromechanical hardware, vendor parts).
• Solid grasp of standard drafting practices, model tree hygiene, drawing templates and formats.
• Experience cleaning legacy CAD datasets, resolving broken assembly references, and standardizing metadata attributes.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
