À propos de ce poste Business Development Director (B2B Sales, US client, Healthcare)- #35348 chez Manila Recruitment
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven B2B sales professional to work directly with the founders, drive US market growth, and onboard physicians to a growing healthcare technology platform. As an individual contributor, you’ll leverage your consultative selling skills, executive presence, and closing expertise to convert qualified leads and scale revenue.
Company Profile:
Our client is the leading platform connecting Nurse Practitioners (NPs) with collaborating physicians across the United States. Their service streamlines an often-complex process—enabling NPs to quickly, affordably, and confidently find physician collaborators to meet state requirements and launch their practices.
The company is profitable, founder-led, and rapidly growing, currently supporting 1,300+ active providers across the US, offering both strong scale and meaningful impact in the healthcare space.
Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
The Business Development Director is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring and onboarding qualified US physicians to the company’s platform. The role focuses on converting leads into signed agreements through consultative selling, effective objection handling, and strong relationship-building with senior decision-makers.
Key responsibilities include managing sales opportunities from initial engagement to closing, achieving weekly physician sign-up targets, maintaining an accurate sales pipeline, reporting performance metrics, and collaborating with internal teams to improve sales processes and support business growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a senior individual-contributor closing role for an experienced B2B salesperson who wants to sell, not manage a sales team. You’ll work directly with the founders and serve as the first dedicated closer on the physician side, helping shape the sales playbook from the start.
If you’ve spent years selling to executives and senior decision-makers in the US, know how to run a strong discovery call, handle sophisticated objections, and confidently ask for the business, this could be a strong fit.
What You’ll Do
Your primary responsibility is simple:
- Bring qualified US physicians onto the company’s platform.
- You’ll conduct video calls with physicians, understand their concerns and motivations, explain the opportunity clearly, address objections, and move qualified prospects through to a signed agreement.
- You’ll work toward a weekly physician sign-up target, with uncapped commission and a quarterly incentive.
- You’ll work with a combination of warm inbound opportunities and targeted outbound prospecting.
- A marketing and lead generation team will support the role by generating qualified leads and providing warm inbound and outbound-sourced opportunities. However, you should also be proactive in identifying potential leads and pursuing additional business opportunities when appropriate.
- Physicians will naturally have questions around liability, compensation, time commitment, expectations, and how collaboration works. You’ll need the executive presence and sales judgment to navigate those conversations confidently without sounding scripted or overly aggressive.
- You will own each opportunity from initial conversation through close.
You’ll also:
- Maintain a disciplined pipeline and follow-up process
- Report weekly activity, pipeline, conversions, and results to the VP of Commercial
- Work directly with the founders and senior leadership
- Share physician feedback and market intelligence to help us improve our positioning, pricing, and offer
- Help refine the sales process as the physician side of the platform scales
- Track pipeline forecasts, funnel metrics, conversion rates, and revenue performance to support scalable growth.
- You will not be responsible for managing a sales team. The Director title reflects the seniority of the role, the caliber of people you’ll be selling to, and the level of ownership we expect.
Requirements
We’re looking for a proven closer not someone looking for their first senior sales opportunity.
Ideally, you have:
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience
- Significant experience selling to US-based clients
- Several years in a quota-carrying closing role
- A strong history of selling to C-level executives, business owners, or senior decision-makers
- Advanced English communication skills are essential. Candidates must be able to communicate fluently and confidently with US physicians and senior decision-makers, particularly during video calls, without sounding overly scripted.
- Strong executive presence on Zoom and video calls
- Confidence handling complex questions and objections
- A disciplined approach to pipeline management and follow-up
- The ability to discuss your previous quotas, conversion rates, deal sizes, and sales results in detail
- The experience to lead a sales team but a preference for staying close to the revenue and continuing to close
- Strong process orientation is important, including the ability to develop repeatable sales workflows, manage pipeline forecasts, understand funnel metrics, and improve sales performance beyond individual deal closing.
- You must be based in the Philippines and comfortable working primarily US business hours.
- Relevant experience with CRM systems, business communication tools, and sales calling platforms is beneficial. The team currently uses Odoo for CRM, CloudTalk for calls, and tools such as Slack, Microsoft Outlook, and Google Meet. Prior experience with these exact platforms is not mandatory, although familiarity with similar systems is preferred.
Experience That Would Be a Plus
Experience selling to any of the following would be valuable, but it is not required:
- Physicians or healthcare professionals
- Attorneys or other licensed professionals
- Healthcare organizations
- Medical staffing companies
- Insurance organizations
- Healthcare SaaS or professional services
What matters most is your ability to build credibility quickly with senior US professionals and convert conversations into business.
Candidates from non-healthcare industries are welcome, provided they have relevant B2B sales experience, a strong closing track record, and the ability to build trusted relationships with US-based senior decision-makers.
