- Safely operate a box truck on assigned local and regional routes.
- Basic hand tool usage and assembly skills
- Pick up and deliver products, packages, equipment, or materials according to assigned routes and schedules.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo to prevent shifting, loss, or damage during transit.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety issues.
- Follow applicable traffic laws, DOT regulations, company policies, and customer-site requirements.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, receipts, inspection documents, and other required paperwork.
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and leadership regarding deliveries, delays, route changes, and vehicle issues.
- Verify orders, freight condition, and delivery quantities before completing deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional vehicle and work area.
- Assist with warehouse, material-handling, or loading duties when required.
- Valid driver's license (REAL ID) and acceptable driving record required.
- Previous box truck, delivery, or commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to read maps, use navigation tools, and maintain general geographic awareness.
- Ability to accurately complete delivery documentation and operational records.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules when required.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
- Must be able to pass Federal background checks for access to Military and Gov’t facilities.
