The Role

Take the next step in your hospitality leadership career with Crown Melbourne as a Bar Manager leading a high-performing team in a dynamic Food & Beverage environment.

This 12-month maximum-term opportunity offers the chance to lead one of Crown Melbourne's bar venues, driving service excellence, team performance and commercial results while creating memorable guest experiences.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage leadership team, you will take ownership of venue performance, team engagement and operational standards while fostering a culture focused on exceptional guest service and strong commercial outcomes.

In this role you will:

• Lead the day-to-day operation of one of Crown Melbourne's bar venues, ensuring exceptional service standards and memorable guest experiences.
• Drive business performance through effective payroll management, revenue growth initiatives and cost control strategies.
• Coach, mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and engaged workplace culture.
• Lead by example on the floor, providing hands-on support during service and championing Crown's service standards.
• Monitor venue performance and implement initiatives to achieve financial and operational objectives.
• Build strong relationships with guests and stakeholders to maximise satisfaction and loyalty.
• Ensure compliance with safety, responsible service and operational requirements while maintaining the highest standards.

About You:

You are an experienced hospitality professional with a passion for leading teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You bring strong leadership capability, commercial awareness and a collaborative approach that creates positive outcomes for both guests and team members.

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a senior Food & Beverage leadership position.
• Strong understanding of venue operations, team leadership and financial performance.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, develop and inspire diverse hospitality teams.
• Exceptional guest service skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience managing operational standards, workplace procedures and compliance requirements.
