You will drive operational excellence by leveraging AI tools, modern infrastructure-as-code, and native cloud technologies to build scalable, resilient platforms that support Guidewire's global business operations.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Work with other Infra engineers as part of the Ops team in BizTech.
- Work on active Infra/DevSecOps support and projects.
- Maintain cross-platform system security across Linux and Windows environments through regular vulnerability remediation and automated patching.
- Work as part of a scrum team in a 2-week sprint model.
- Drive end-to-end automation using AI tools, Ansible, Terraform, and native AWS automation. services.
- Integrate and maintain various operational solutions, including DataDog, PagerDuty, Slack, and Glean.
- Provision and automate tool deployments leveraging the AWS framework.
- Other ad-hoc tasks related to our wider Infra team’s needs.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical service availability and incident response.
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong foundational knowledge of AWS cloud platform, cloud networking, and Linux/Windows system administration.
- Hands-on experience with automation and scripting languages such as Python, Go, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with APIs, web services, and integration standards (REST, SOAP, JSON, OAuth)
- Solid experience with CI/CD platforms and pipeline automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
