Role Summary

This role is within WPP Media where you will be instrumental in performing Social campaigns for a portfolio of WPP Media clients as a Social Associate.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
In three months:

• Understand the client business and the category and key drivers of growth
• Build a collaborative relationship with your clients and act as the lead contact across assigned brands
• Embed into the internal team and understand the different specialist teams you work with
• Understand the key tools and processes critical to the everyday running of the account

In six months:

• Lead your own planning response from insight and strategy through to execution
• Project manage cross-media, category and industry leading campaigns

In 12 months:

• Work closely with the client team and other specialist teams on at least one project
• Coach junior members of the team to achieve their goals
• Deliver a positive client performance rating on your brands and helped deliver a positive over-all score for the team

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

• Lead the over-all strategic communication planning process that will address client’s business needs
• Supervise team’s over-all output to ensure quality, accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
• Manage day-to-day client requirements through mentoring junior members of the team
• Appropriate and delegate tasks to individual members of the team, ensuring that they are given adequate time, resources and training to perform the tasks
• Conduct annual and interim review of team members in a thorough and professional manner
• Build and maintain a productive relationship with clients and team members
• Assist with fee and contract negotiation as well as other aspect of the business
• Work with the client to arrive at the best processes/ system for managing their business
• Work with other teams/departments to promote clients interest with strategically important media owners
• Take part in new business pitches and provide insightful and comprehensive communications solutions for the agency and its clients
