The Role

Your role

As the dedicated Project Manager for a long-term banking project, you will lead the full project lifecycle from proposal and requirements definition through design, implementation, and operations, including the development of an AWS-based operations platform and operating model. You will also manage stakeholders and vendors across a team of up to 50 members and, in the future, take responsibility for the operations phase as a Delivery Partner.

What you will do

• Drive a banking system integration and operations platform development project

• Manage all phases from proposal and requirements definition through design, implementation, and operations

• Lead operating model design, monitoring, job management, and operations platform development

• Contribute to the development of a new AWS-based cloud platform

• Coordinate among the customer, internal technical teams, and vendors, and resolve project issues

• Lead the long-term project with the post-implementation operations phase in mind

• Handle confidential information, including customer names, appropriately throughout the project

Who You Are

Required skills and experience

• Project management experience and experience in upstream phases, from proposal development through requirements definition

• Knowledge of infrastructure or cloud operations, operating model design, or operations platform development

• Strong stakeholder management skills to coordinate multiple parties

• Experience in financial-sector projects or as a Project Manager for medium- to large-scale projects

• Experience driving projects from a position close to that of a prime contractor

• Ability to join the project soon after starting and independently lead its launch

Preferred skills and experience

• Experience in the design, implementation, or operation of cloud platforms such as AWS

• Knowledge of financial systems and business operations, particularly in banking

• Experience in vendor management or team management for large-scale projects

• Experience driving projects as a Project Manager or prospective Delivery Partner

• Experience taking responsibility for long-term projects through the post-implementation operations phase

• Experience not only in operations but also in the design and implementation phases
