In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level position within the Operations Job Family.

What you'll do in the role:
- Execute complex processes and assist a Team Manager in coordinating processes, risks and/or projects in a Team Lead capacity.
- Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and leverage detailed knowledge to propose changes in process.
- Train others, allocate tasks and support with first line escalation where required.
Share expert knowledge across the team, contribute to team output and development, building relationships across the Firm.
- Process and oversee Primary Dealer operational activities including RBI auction participation, Government Securities settlements, CCIL obligations, funding and reconciliation activities.
- Prepare and review regulatory reports, management information and control reporting to ensure compliance with RBI, CCIL and internal regulatory requirements.
- Manage internal and external audit engagements, regulatory inspections and stakeholder queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Drive process improvements, strengthen operational controls and support risk mitigation initiatives across the Primary Dealer function. What you'll bring to the role:
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of functional area and operational/compliance policies and procedures of their team.
- Ability to operate independently with respect to some job responsibilities.
Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values.
- Experience in Fixed Income and/or Foreign Exchange Operations with a strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, settlements, reconciliations and funding processes.
- Knowledge of RBI regulations, CCIL operating procedures, Government Securities markets and Primary Dealer obligations.
- Ability to manage regulatory reporting, audit engagements, query management and exception resolution in a controlled environment.
- Understanding of operational risk, controls, escalation management and regulatory compliance requirements within financial services.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize competing deliverables and meet critical deadlines.
- At least 5 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
