Client Onboarding & Regulatory Services (CORS) is an Operations responsible for regulatory client onboarding, refresh and screening of the firms clients

KYC Refresh supports several regulatory compliance requirements specified by our local/global regulators and provide a rigorous and robust process of investigation that seeks, with reasonable assurance, to verify and validate the customer's identity and their business.

Morgan Stanley is seeking an Associate for the KYC Refresh Event Driven Review team in Mumbai. The role is ultimately focused on delivering accurate and timely reviews, maintaining high standards of data and record management, and contributing to transformation, process improvement, and operational efficiency across the Event Driven Review process.

What will you be doing?
> Perform event trigger validation in accordance with the Firm's policies and procedures, ensuring outcomes are accurate, fully supported, and completed within required timelines
> Escalate appropriately any risks, data discrepancies, or process issues identified during the trigger validation review process
> Update Firm systems and databases with complete and accurate information and documentation in accordance with internal processes, policies, and record management standards
> Work closely with GFC/FCR to address discrepancies within internal data and support consistent data quality across the review population
> Partner with other teams to collect required evidence and associated information to meet regulatory, internal policy, and documentation requirements
> Ensure feedback following checker review is addressed accurately and in a timely manner
> Handle volume spikes and prioritize work, including ad-hoc requests and projects from key stakeholders, in a clear and timely manner
> Ensure targets and deadlines are met to keep workbaskets cleared and cases completed by the required due date
> Develop a risk-based and rational mindset when reviewing event triggers and assessing required actions
> Participate in transformation and process improvement initiatives, including technology enhancements, operational process reviews, data quality improvements, and process simplification
> Act as a key contact for stakeholders on required Event Driven Review documentation, process queries, and record management expectations What we're looking for:
> Strong attention to detail, with the ability to deliver accurate, well-evidenced outcomes in line with policy and procedure requirements
> Quick learning ability to understand policies, procedures, systems, processes, controls, and data requirements
> Sound risk and control mindset, excellent judgement, and ability to prioritize work to meet required timelines
> Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders clearly and effectively
> Ability to maintain accurate records, manage data responsibly, and support audit-ready documentation standards
> Previous experience working in an AML/KYC role, preferably within case management, quality control, data management, or related operational review activities

> Maintains a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize/multi-task while sustaining high standards of accuracy and record management
> Good client focus and ability to partner with various internal groups and client coverage teams
> Share information, ideas, and suggestions by working collaboratively in a team
> Ability to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines
> Ability to escalate effectively and in a timely manner when required
> Interest in transformation, process improvement, technology enhancements, and operational simplification
> Knowledge of PowerBI/Alteryx
