Nanyang Technological University's College of Engineering is one of the largest engineering colleges in the region, bringing together five schools under a single College Office that sets standards and supports the schools to deliver.

The College Office is looking for an Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager to work as the right hand of the Deputy Director: a broad, high-trust role for someone who enjoys both driving things to completion on behalf of a senior leader and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Act on the Deputy Director's behalf to move College-wide priorities to closure, working with function heads and school administrators.

• Review and develop SOPs and business processes and recommend improvements to standardise, simplify and streamline workflows.

• Identify and drive automation opportunities where feasible to enhance efficiency, productivity and service delivery.

• Keep governance records and action tracking accurate, and ensure commitments are followed through.

• Coordinate office administration and facilities so the College Office runs without a hitch.

• Support and deliver events, from internal staff functions to high-profile institutional visits.

• Provide office-level safety coordination and handle confidential information with care.

Requirements:

Must-haves:

• A recognised university degree.

• At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in executive/management support and office administration in a complex organisation.

• Strong judgement, discretion, and follow-through.

Good to have:

• Higher-education or public-sector experience.

• Exposure to governance, events, or facilities coordination.
