Who we look for 

MPS is seeking a highly self-motivated intern with passion for hardware and good knowledge power electronic.  He will support the validation of our new integrated circuits (IC) for high voltage applications (including DC/DC, current sensors, isolated driver) working inside our hardware department.  

Tasks: 

·       Design simulated and validated power electronics circuits to meet the required specifications.  

·       Prepare hardware and software setups, together with our hardware & simulation team, to be able to measure all required parameters of our IC. 

·       Develop schematic and PCB to for new solutions. 

·       Develop device modeling (spice) 

·       Work with IC design team to debug and troubleshoot the device under test. 

·       Generate documentation and reports with all performed test. 

Qualifications: 

·       MS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering; Subjects related to power electronics and control are desired.  

·       Hands-on experience in verification and troubleshooting electronic circuits (firmware and hardware).  

·       Experience in the use of electronic laboratory equipment including oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer. 

·       Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.  

·       Good oral and written skills for communication and documentation  

·       Self-motivated, strong team player
