Summary:
Fortinet FortiGate - The Engineer will have hands-on experience in network security, particularly Fortinet security appliances, and a foundational understanding of Microsoft Azure networking. The role focuses on day-to-day operational support, incident handling, and basic change implementation for enterprise security environments. The ideal candidate will have exposure to firewalls, security monitoring tools, and hybrid cloud environments, with the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and escalate security incidents efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide L2-level support for Fortinet security devices.
- Manage and troubleshoot security events, escalate threats as per defined protocols.
- Perform basic administration tasks such as policy updates, address objects, NAT rules, and VPN troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with L3 teams during security incidents or complex troubleshooting.
- Work on change requests related to firewall configurations, access controls, and security zones.
- Maintain accurate incident records, perform root cause reviews, and contribute to SOPs.
- Conduct routine health checks and validate logging, alerting, and monitoring systems.
- Follow ITIL-aligned service management practices for incident, problem, and change processes.
- Expertise in L'Or al Network topology to handle 300+ firewall change requests from functional need to technical configuration

Professional & Technical Skills:
- 3–9 years of experience in network/security operations roles.
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Strong experience in policies, NAT, VPNs, and monitoring.
- Basic knowledge of security principles, protocols, and common threats.
- Familiarity with Azure networking concepts: VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway (optional but preferred).
- Experience using ITSM tools for managing incidents, changes, and service requests.
