Description
Per diem anesthesiologist opening with UPMC Western Maryland in Cumberland, MD—drivable distance to 3 major cities. A voluntary nonprofit hospital with 240 Medicare-certified beds, UPMC Western Maryland is an acute care, short-term facility. Located in the historic downtown area, this hospital is part of the Western Maryland Health System. Total Rewards
Hourly Rate: $325 per hour

Case Assignments & Schedule
• Schedule: Various shifts
• Ortho, general, neuro, GYN, and more

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
• MD or DO from an accredited institution 
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency 
• Board Eligible or Board Certified  
• Current medical licensure 
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
