You will ensure that we comply with all local indirect taxes including VAT, GST, sales tax, and excise tax, among others. You will also ensure the timely filing of returns and payments, so we comply with local regulations and ensure the accurate and timely reporting in our financial statements. To succeed in this role, you must understand the accounting entries for these taxes and ensure that we are accounting appropriately. You will also handle requests and queries from local tax authorities’ audits and help prepare documentation to support audits.

How you will contribute

You will:

• Support the indirect tax process including preparation of tax returns, processing of payments and filing. You will also support the timely filing of returns and payment to ensure full compliance with local regulations. In addition, you will prepare monthly reconciliation for withholding tax and VAT (balance sheet and profit loss)
• Support a strong controls and compliance environment within the Indirect Tax team and ensure full compliance with our AER policies. You will also ensure compliance with all indirect tax local laws and regulations in your area of responsibility
• Provide and help interpret data from accounting records as required
• Embrace a mindset of continuous improvement. You will also propose opportunities to improve ways of working in your area of responsibility
• Contribute to a high performing Indirect Tax team (Mondelēz International employees and Mondelēz International Business Services business partner). You will also invest in your own personal development`

What you will bring

• TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in indirect taxes with subject matter knowledge and ideally a background in associated local GAAP, account analysis reporting and closing processes. Solid knowledge of local indirect tax regulation and laws. Knowledge in policy, controls and compliance design including SOX reporting
• BUSINESS ACUMEN and understanding of our business and finance beyond indirect tax scope
• LEADERSHIP SKILLS including proven communication skills and the ability to be a team player with a drive to deliver results
• GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and financial system knowledge

Principais Atribuições

• Escrituração Fiscal – Apoiar na escrituração fiscal de entradas e saidas, auxiliando na analise de lancamentos nos livros fiscais (Entrada, Saida, Apuração – ICMS, IPI, ICMS-ST, NCM, Aliquotas, etc.);
• Incentivos e Beneficios Fiscais – Auxiliar no acompanhamento e controle de incentivos e beneficios fiscais estaduais;
• Ressarcimento de ICMS-ST – Apoiar no levantamento de dados e cálculos (incluindo pedidos de ressarcimento);
• Preco de Pauta – Auxiliar na conferencia e organização de dados para recalculo de preco de pauta;
• Impostos Retidos na Fonte – Auxiliar no controle e acompanhamento;
• PIS e COFINS – Apoiar na apuração e conferencia;
• CIAP – Auxiliar na conciliacão do CIAP (ICMS, PIS e COFINS);
• Obrigacoes Acessorias – Apoiar na preparação e entrega de obrigacoes acessorias;
• Conciliação Fiscal-Contabil – Auxiliar na conciliação entre os registros fiscais e contabeis;
• Reforma Tributaria – Acompanhar as atualizacoes e mudancas decorrentes da Reforma Tributaria, apoiando a equipe na adaptação dos processos;

Requisitos

• Formação superior completa ou em andamento em Ciências Contábeis, Direito, Administração ou áreas correlatas
• Experiencia na área fiscal/tributaria - apuração de impostos indiretos,  revisão de cálculos tributários, conciliações contábeis-fiscais e obrigações acessórias
• Conhecimento básico de impostos indiretos brasileiros (ICMS, IPI)
• Excel (tabelas dinâmicas, PROCV/XLOOKUP, formatação de dados)

Diferenciais

• Experiência com SAP (módulos FI/MM)
• Conhecimento em PIS/COFINS, ISS
• Experiência em ambiente industrial
• Conhecimento Portal de Nota Fiscal Eletronica
• Familiaridade com sistemas fiscais (Tax One, Mastersaf, Synchro)
• Conhecimento básico de SPED e obrigações acessórias
• Inglês intermediário
• Noções de banco de dados ou ferramentas de automação (Power Query, VBA, SQL)

A posição está baseada em São Paulo, SP (modelo híbrido).
