Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Communication & Initiative Leadership
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of Distribution communication, engagement, and strategic initiatives aligned with business priorities.
- Translate business objectives into impactful communication plans, campaigns, content, and engagement programs.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve communication effectiveness, agent engagement, and initiative outcomes.
- Drive execution with a high degree of ownership, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with intended business objectives.
2. Leadership Communication & Enablement
- Partner with Distribution leaders and senior management to strengthen leadership visibility, communication effectiveness, and engagement across the organization.
- Develop and execute leadership communication initiatives including management video messages, executive interviews, podcasts, townhalls, and strategic storytelling programs.
- Lead end-to-end production of leadership communication assets, from content strategy and messaging development to recording and deployment.
- Advise leaders on communication approaches, messaging, and personal branding opportunities that strengthen credibility, influence, and audience connection.
- Leverage leadership voices to support key business priorities, product launches, recruitment initiatives, digital adoption, and organizational transformation.
3. Campaign Development & Agent Engagement
- Design and execute communication and engagement campaigns supporting strategic Distribution priorities, including recruitment, productivity, recognition, digital adoption, and High Net Worth (HNW) initiatives.
- Develop communication concepts, messaging frameworks, and content strategies that influence desired audience behaviors and business outcomes.
- Ensure campaigns are translated into measurable actions, engagement, and adoption among target audiences.
- Continuously evaluate campaign effectiveness and recommend enhancements to maximize impact.
4. Platform Strategy & Content Management (e.g., MICA)
- Own content strategy, planning, and governance for agent-facing platforms to ensure relevance, consistency, and business alignment.
- Drive continuous improvement of content quality, user experience, and engagement performance.
- Recommend and implement initiatives that increase platform adoption, content consumption, and overall agent engagement.
- Monitor content effectiveness and leverage insights to optimize future content strategies.
5. Podcast, Thought Leadership & Personal Branding Programs
- Lead the development of agent success stories, leader testimonials, podcasts, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Identify compelling business and personal branding narratives that support recruitment, productivity, and agency growth objectives.
- Shape content direction, interview angles, and storytelling approaches to maximize audience engagement and business relevance.
- Champion personal branding programs that strengthen the visibility, credibility, and market positioning of agency leaders and agents.
6. Stakeholder Management & Cross-functional Leadership
- Build strong partnerships with Distribution leaders and cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, Product, IT, HR, and Compliance.
- Influence alignment across stakeholders and drive timely decision-making to support successful initiative execution.
- Provide communication recommendations and strategic perspectives to address business needs and stakeholder objectives.
- Serve as the primary communication lead for assigned initiatives and projects.
7. MyNewStore Growth & Adoption Lead
- Lead initiatives to position MyNewStore as an engaging and valuable platform for agents.
- Develop adoption and engagement strategies that increase platform utilization and business impact.
- Analyze usage trends, agent feedback, and behavioral insights to identify improvement opportunities.
- Recommend and drive enhancements to content, campaigns, user experience, and platform engagement.
- Partner with relevant stakeholders to establish and execute continuous improvement roadmaps.
8. Communication Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Establish best practices, governance, and quality standards for Distribution communications and engagement initiatives.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
- Leverage data, feedback, and business insights to continuously improve communication outcomes and audience engagement.
- Drive innovation by introducing new communication formats, channels, technologies, and engagement approaches.
Job Requirements:
• BS/BA in Marketing, Journalism, Writing, Finance or related field
• 5+ years of financial services product knowledge/ marketing communications, etc
• Excellent editing, writing, and proofreading skills
• Keen sense of editorial/creative process including working closely with product management, design, production, compliance and traffic
• Outstanding prioritization and problem-solving skills in a deadline-driven environment
• Superb communication skills with clients, co-workers and management • Positive attitude with ability to contribute to a collaborative environment
