Job Description
Admissions Assistant - Key Responsibilities
Manage leads and convert enquiries into enrolments to maximise student numbers.
Support lead generation and increase school awareness through school events and local community partnerships.
Take an active role in the day-to-day admissions operations of the school.
Respond to all new enquiries within one working day, answer questions, and arrange admissions meetings with the Principal or Head of School.
Liaise with families throughout the admissions process, ensuring timely follow-up and effective management of enquiries.
Follow up after admissions meetings and coordinate with the Registrar and Finance teams to ensure a smooth transition from offer to enrolment.
Conduct parent tours and support admissions meetings as required.
Manage and maintain the admissions appointment calendar, including follow-up on missed appointments.
Ensure reception and welcome areas are prepared and provide a positive experience for prospective families.
Coordinate and manage the admissions event calendar with School Leaders, including recruitment events and open days.
Promote admissions events in collaboration with the Marketing team to maximise student recruitment.
Maintain and update parent enquiry databases and admissions records.
Participate in regular Admissions and Marketing meetings and share updates with School Leaders and ISP stakeholders.
Contribute to the wider life and activities of the school community.
Provide reception cover when required and support general school administration.
Prepare and contribute to weekly KPI, capacity, enrolment, and admissions pipeline reports.
Analyse admissions data and provide recommendations to improve recruitment performance.
Serve as the primary point of contact for new enquiries received through multiple channels.
Organise admissions meetings, open days, and recruitment events while delivering exceptional customer service throughout the enrolment journey.
Review and update admissions documents, communication templates, parent communication platforms, and marketing materials to ensure accuracy and best practice.
Work closely with parent-facing administrative teams to ensure excellent first impressions and a positive visitor experience.
Provide ongoing support and communication to newly enrolled families, ensuring a high standard of after-sales care.

Calm and empathetic approach with an understanding of young people.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Experience preparing records, reports, and correspondence using spreadsheets and databases.
