About The Role
As a Samba Account Executive, you will work alongside the Director of Agency Partnerships to generate revenue growth and deepen relationships across agency holding group and programmatic trading desk clients. You'll be responsible for growing and maintaining a book of business across the full sales cycle, starting conversations with the right agency stakeholders and taking them through to close. This role requires strong proficiency in programmatic and data strategy.
What You'll Do
Drive Revenue: Generate new conversations, then pitch and close opportunities across holding groups and programmatic trading desks. Meet and exceed quota with strong Salesforce discipline.
Sell Samba's Solutions: Sell Samba's Audience, Measurement and Data solutions, and communicate their value through email, virtual meetings and in-person presentations.
Manage Accounts: Build and maintain relationships at all levels of your accounts, with detailed account plans that capture each account's structure, needs and revenue potential.
Consultative Selling: Understand client objectives and recommend tailored Samba solutions.
Collaborate Internally: Work with our Programmatic Consulting and Measurement Science teams to deepen relationships and grow revenue across existing Samba clients.
Represent Samba: Attend industry events and build Samba's profile in the market.
Who You Are
Experience: 5+ years in programmatic advertising, data, digital media or ad tech sales, with a track record of performing against quota.
Programmatic Expertise: Strong working knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs, deal-based buying and audience data.
Consultative Approach: An analytical approach to building client partnerships, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Autonomy & Teamwork: Able to work independently across your remit while collaborating well with the wider team.
Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
Working Style: Willingness to travel, to entertain clients in evenings and occasionally weekends, and to work 4 days a week onsite in Sydney.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the TV/CTV advertising industry.
Relationships: Current relationships with agency and trading desk decision makers.
